Mes recherches artistiques sont basées sur la revitalisation poétique d'espaces abandonnés ou négligés dans la ville autour de nous, afin de les faire revivre. Les matériaux que j'utilise sont des mousses et des plantes vivantes, des circuits électroniques simples, des projections vidéo et des textiles comme le tissu, le feutre et le fil. Dans l'espace d'intervention, l'emphase est mise sur les gestes subtil qui s'insinuent se déroulent et s'entre-mêlent au sein des architectures existantes, en s'imprégnant des modèles de mouvement et d'utilisation du lieu. Des petits paysages interactifs aux grandes installations vidéo, mon but est d'inviter les participants à développer une perception plus sensible et animée des environnements qui nous entourent.
My work is based on ongoing inquiries into contemporary landscape, and the intertwining of natural and urban geographies. These questions are presented in the form of installations, which are often specific to the space in which they are posed. Whether through performative action, moving image, material objects or processes of growth and decay, I aim to alter habituated experiences of architectural and urban spaces, and invite a seeping in of wild or uncontrolled elements. Ranging from room-scale installations to small-sized gestures, my work explores actions and processes that unfold over time, and trace both our presence in the world, and the world's presence in ours.
